Turning the unique privilege of a 19th Century upbringing into 21st Century magic. Raised by hippies in Middle of Nowhere, Minnesota, we made EVERYTHING by hand. Buildings, clothing, machines, goat cheese.

The past is prologue, and now I think about how things get made, what they mean, how they make us feel and how they could be better.

My career in Art and Architecture grows out of a deeply rooted curiosity about the world. What I have learned over time is that I love big, complicated, collaborative projects that engage the imagination of end-users and designers alike. Work is better when everyone believes in it.
